SANDRA LARSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Sandra Larson Memorial Scholarship
The Friends of the Fern Ridge Library sponsor several scholarships each year for outstanding high school seniors who live in the Fern Ridge School District or who volunteer at the Fern Ridge Library. The scholarship is named in honor of the late Sandra Larson, a long-time officer in and member of our organization, who was a retired teacher, avid reader, enthusiastic library supporter and community leader.
The application form is usually available in early February with a deadline in late March. Over the past eleven years, we have made 41 awards totaling more than $25,000. These scholarships are funded by generous members of the Friends of the Fern Ridge Library.
